Our Approach
Wags N Whiskers was founded in February 2024 with the premise that a well-resourced network of quality pet care facilities can flourish under growing labor and administrative challenges faced by the industry, while maintaining the individuality or “secret sauce” of each of its partnered facilities through a decentralized approach.
Wags N Whiskers is self-funded by the founding partners with a background in “mom-and-pop” small business operations and is not backed by private equity or institutional investors. We believe this aligns us strongly with the family-oriented culture carefully cultivated at independently owned pet care facilities. Wags N Whiskers was founded with the goal of becoming the preferred second “home” for quality, independent pet care whose owners are seeking retirement.
